Original one sheet movie poster on linen. Poster was originally folded. measures 27×41, linen border is 1”. Minimal restoration on the fold lines.
Linen-backing is to preserve and stabilize the poster. Older posters came folded, backing the poster flattens the fold lines, can replace missing paper, and stable surface for any restoration. Conservation process mounts the poster on archival Japanese paper and a cotton canvas using acid free adhesive and are reversible if needed
